O IMAGINÁRIO E A CIDADE DE GOIÁS-GO

Resumo

Resumo: O presente trabalho, produzido durante os estudos da disciplina O Imaginário e a cidade ministrada pela Professora Drª Valéria Cristina Pereira da Silva, tem a intenção de  compreender e demonstrar o imaginário da cidade de Goiás. Acerca da cidade, conhecida como berço da cultura goiana, busca-se compreender as sensibilidades do imaginário da cidade e de seu povo assim como a forma com a qual é percebida pelo turista. Ademais, se procura analisar o misticismo enraizado no imaginário da mesma cidade, as lendas e histórias escondidas por trás das histórias tradicionalmente contadas pelos historiadores, a herança cultural ainda transmitida nas escolas e nas famílias. Uma outra Goiás sem privilégio da procissão do fogaréu ou da enchente no rio Vermelho que um dia ali varreu, uma Goiás sob outro olhar.

Abstract: The present work, produced during the studies of the discipline The Imaginary and the city taught by Professor Drª Valéria Cristina Pereira da Silva, is intended to understand and demonstrate the imaginary of the city of Goiás. About the city, known as the cradle of Goiás culture, it seeks to understand the sensibilities of the imaginary of the city and its people as well as the way in which it is perceived by tourists. Furthermore, it seeks to analyze the mysticism rooted in the imaginary of the same city, the legends and stories hidden behind the stories traditionally told by historians, the cultural heritage still transmitted in schools and families. Another Goiás without the privilege of the procession of the bonfire or the flood on the Rio Vermelho that once swept there, one Goiás under another look.
