Abstract

Soybeans (Glycine Max. L) have great relevance in the production and economic chain. It is a raw material for several products with a wide variety and is a product of great demand and turnover in world trade. Its importance and production awakens the country's large producers to seek greater profitability and productivity, with the aim of greater economic return. Thus, the objective of the present study was to verify the economic analysis and feasibility of producing NEO 750 IPRO soybeans in an area of 59 hectares in the municipality of Ipameri Goiás, in the southeast of Goiás in the 2022/23 harvest. The indicators for the economic viability analysis had a Gross Revenue (RB) = R$ 8,033.35 for 1 hectare; Production Cost= R$ 6,175.58; Net Revenue (RL)= R$ 1,857.77; Leveling Point (PN)= 51 Bags; Benefit Cost Ratio (RB/C) of 1.30; Equilibrium Price (PE)= R$ 93.01; Profitability Index (IL) at 23% and with a Margin of Safety (MS) of -23%. Regarding fluctuations in product prices and production costs, a sensitivity analysis was developed with five situations on economic returns. In the worst case scenario, cultivation would not be sufficient to cover production costs, making it unviable for the producer.
