Pós 1960 e a complexa relação entre história e literatura

O século XX promoveu, no campo do conhecimento histórico, profundas inquietações quanto à natureza da história. Tanto historiadores quanto teóricos da literatura, começaram a debater sobre as questões ligadas à complexa relação existente entre a história e a literatura, desencadeando assim uma vasta e rica produção historiográfica que alargou ainda mais as problematizações a respeito do historiar. Nesse contexto, o objeto de discussão nessa pesquisa é a composição da narrativa histórica, ou seja, problematizações levantadas acerca da narrativa historiadora possibilitaram a visualização de uma complexa relação a ambos os campos do saber. Nesse cenário, surgiram indagaçõesligadas ao ofício do historiador, tais como verdade e compreensão, ciência e ficção, objetividade e subjetividade dentre outros, configurando o “solo” das certezas, um tanto complicadas, ou seja, no século XX, sobretudo o pós 1960, autores como Paul Veyne, White e outros, incitaram abalos no estatuto “cientifico” da história. Assim, o estudo da narrativa histórica contribui para compreender as relações de fronteira entre história e literatura, levando em consideração que tanto historiadores quanto filósofos da história e teóricos da literatura apresentaram respostas convincentes acerca dessa problemática atual. Deste modo, Jörn Rüsen, Michel de Certeau, Hayden White e Ankersmit serão tomados como ícones para discorrer sobre tais reflexões que visam, ao menos parcialmente, compreender as vantagens e os “perigos” da complexa relação entre história e literatura para a composição narrativa da escrita historiadora.

Abstract

The 20th century promoted, in the historical knowledge field, deep concerns regarding the nature of the history. Both historiansand literarytheorists began to discuss the issues related to the complex relationship between history and literature, unleashing a vast and rich historiographical production that widened, even more, the problematization regarding historizing. In this context, the object of discussion in this research is the composition of the historical narrative, i.e.,the raised issues about the historical narrative enabled visualization of a complex relationship between history and literature. In this scenario, the historian's job-related questions, such as truth and comprehension, science and fiction, objectivity and subjectivity among others, setting up the "ground" of certainties, somewhat complicated, i.e. in the 20th century, especially after 1960, urged concussions on the status of the history. Thus, the study of historical narrative helps to understand the border relationships between history and literature, considering that both historians and philosophers of history and literary theorists have presented convincing answers about that current problems. Thus, Jörn Rüsen, Michel de Certeau, Hayden White and Ankersmit are taken as icons to expound on such reflections aimed, at least partially, to understand the advantages and the "dangers" of the complex relationship between history and literature for the narrative composition of the historian writing.
